Jarred Brown is no stranger to adventures or charity. He is a Colorado native, who grew up in Boulder spending most of his vacations deep Colorado backcountry. Jarred attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where he obtained a Bachelors of Science in Finance and a Maste of Science in Accounting. Jarred is also a Certified Public Accountant and currently works with Grow LLC, a Denver based company helping start-up companies become successful businesses.

Throughout his life, Jarred has enjoyed helping others. Beginning in hi school Jarred donated his time to organizations such as Share-a-Gift, Habitat for Humanity, Food Bank of the Rockies, Warren Village, and Boy and Girls Club of Colorado, and was an "Outstanding Volunteer" with Junior Achievement for school years 2003 through 2007. After participating in AFC's Urban Navigator 2008, Jarred accepted the invitation to join the AFC board of directors.

When he is not working or donating his time, Jarred still likes to be in the Colorado backcountry. On the weekends you will find him skiing, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, waterskiing, or sailing.
